Summary: While a little away from the beach, this property was a delight to stay in. From the friendly staff, to the well appointed and cozy rooms to the fabulous onsite restaurants, this hotel checks all the boxes. While transportation was easy, the complimentary bike rentals was a nice touch. Overall very please and highly recommended.

Summary: Restaurant staff were very friendly. Room was nice. The hotel is on a very busy street, though the Pongal festival added to the chaos. The property is well maintained and is a welcome retreat from the busy city.

Summary: Great hotel with amazing staff. The bar was dark and not appealing. The rooms were good, the food was good. The area was typical of India. Ultimate people watching experience outside. Short ride to White town on a Tuc Tuc which was great fun.

Summary: Cleanness was not up to par for a proper/big hotel . Bedsheets, pillows, and towels were all dirty. Lotion was not refilled from previous guest use. Dining service was slow and staff would often forget the small orders. With regard to our driver, he did not have a proper place to sleep in the drivers room. They only had few beds set up; failing to adhere to the Driver Association requirements and regulations on the number of beds required. The above two items were brought up to staff and the on duty manager attention, however nothing proper was done to address these issues. Will definitely not be recommending this hotel to other, unless a properly regulatory check is done and ensured.

Summary: Beautiful - they cannot do enough for you! They really go above and beyond! Lovely pool to relax and spa… it was so easy to jump in a tuk tuk to get to white town very cheaply! I found this hotel was more value for money than others and more luxurious

Summary: Always surprised that Pondicherry does not have any decent, modern, full-facility five-star hotels, given Marriott and GRT have opened great top-notch hotels in Trichy and Madurai etc. This is quieter than the Accord, though also on a busy street. Two issues seem to get mentioned in the comments: hair in bedding and bad smells. I encountered both, after accidentally lifting the bottom bed sheet to see some long black hairs stuck to mattress lining. The smell from carpet area was tolerable but noticeable. Breakfast was good, but really disliked the loud jazz music being played at that time. Indoor pool area is limited and not as good as photos suggest. Felt quite stuffy. Steam room not free for general guests. Fine for a night, but I wouldn't be planning a holiday here. Too far from anywhere nice, like a beach or park. Right off chaotic street. Photos are misleading!
